Wakeup and Makeup

It's been almost two years since I met my makeup artist on Instagram. Before we talk about the outfit let's talk about my right hand woman- Sable Desiree.

I had just moved to Seattle and wanted to make some connections so I started searching hashtags and came across her page. We've been inseparable since then. House calls to road trips, multiple makeup looks in a day; I can honestly say she is the real MVP. We both started out pretty new to the scene and it has been such an adventure doing this fashion thing together. If you live in Seattle and need your makeup done for any occasion go see my girl!

Zara was having yet another sale when I came across these fun fringe booties and right away I knew I had to have them! As I stood in line waiting to make the purchase I started putting this outfit together in my mind. I took it back with acid wash jeans but keeping it cool with a studded leather jacket; I call this look old school rocker chick. Take a break from normal and let your inner rocker out!

What's Your Style?

How would you describe your style? I have been asked this question more times than I can count. My answer: I have no clue. It is most commonly said that style is a way to say who you are without having to speak. Everyday an experience brings a new adventure in need of a cute outfit. My style can go from casual girl next door to chic business woman. What always stays the same though is the class I strive to maintain with every look.

As celebrity fashion influences the fashion world more and more, I have seen the trends continue to become more risque. When did it become okay to wear a nightgown as a dress out in public? Why do a majority of teens think that crop tops and high waisted shorts aka booty shorts are fashion forward? These are questions that I ask myself almost daily as I walk down the street or go through the mall. Society is teaching us that less is more. I beg to differ.

It's not just about what you wear but how you wear it! I'm on a mission to remind ladies that sexy isn't about how much skin is out, but rather the attitude you carry.

Stay fierce, be different!
