Newest Obession

2 words to change your closet- Fashion Nova. I started hearing about this online store on social media, through celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Cardi B promoting them. I was skeptical, not thinking that the quality and fit of the items would be up to par.

I finally decided to give them a shot and I've never been happier with an online shopping experience. Their prices are way more than reasonable, the fit is everything, the quality is more than I would have expected. I've already washed one of the dresses a few times and no fuzzballs or unraveling anywhere.

If you're on a budget but still trying to look like a million I highly suggest you check them out!

P.S. Every purchase also comes with a coupon...I mean, could this place get any better?! Get ready to be addicted.

TGIF! Hope you all have an amazing weekend.

xoxo

Neature Walks with Rodney

Happy Hump Day lovelies! Days are getting shorter, mornings a littler colder, and I'm holding on to my summer wardrobe for dear life.

Β

After four years taking photos of landscape photographer, Rodney Nonamaker decided to take his hand at portraiture and I'm excited to be part of the journey. Composition and the way a photo is edited are the two main things I look for before contacting a photographer about a collaboration. I personally am not a fan of photos taken in the same angle all the time, or ones that are over done in lightroom/photoshop. He may be new to the game but Rodney is already trying his hand at various angles, and has blown me away with is editing skills.

You're bound to be seeing a lot more of his work on my blog! Check out even more photos on my Instagram.

Flower Power

Spring for me means that all things floral are brought out of hiding- anything from dresses to bottoms. I'm usually weary of online shopping on new sites but recently checked out Ami Clubwear and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit of all the items I got, like these black floral bottoms.

The floral palazzo pants which have been dubbed my butt pants; in my opinion are cute, comfortable, stylish and make my behind look like a million bucks. What's not to love? The original price is $30 however this site is always having a sale and can be found at $10. In need of some new summer clothes, or other online options- then make sure to check out amiclubwear.com.

I have a few more items that I'll be sure to share with you guys this month! xoxo

I Love Me pt. 2

Hello lovelies! It's been a little while since I've had anything to post- this Alaska lifestyle has my plate full with other things. Finding photographers to work with has been nearly impossible, but I was lucky enough to take a trip back home a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to shoot some new material.

I've been focusing on learning to love my body flaws as I work on improving myself. Everyone has their own way of accepting themselves, and for me it's showing my insecurities and embracing them through the journey. Now Now some of you will think I’m crazy, so let me put it in perspective- I gained between 20 to 25 pounds in one year. Let's just say I'm an emotional eater, and it's been a crazy year. This weight gain has helped me see that being a size 6 doesn't make me less pretty than when I was a size 2; that doesn’t mean I won’t continue to strive for self-improvement.

Stretch marks, no thigh gap, and a little bit of tummy fat- I still love me. Don't forget to love yourself even if you aren't where you'd like to be.

xoxo

The Midi

Warmer days are ahead of us which can make dressing for work, interviews, and business meetings difficult. It's time to trade your slacks in for a midi skirt, long sleeve button ups for a black cutoff top, and get ready to rock dressy-casual like no one has seen before.

I fell in love with the midi skirt last December and my collection has been growing ever since. The three that I have were all found in Zara's sale section- I just can't get enough! This look started out with the basics: top, skirt, and shoes. Belts and hats are my go to accessories and I used both to give this look a little something extra. Nothing big or flashy, just some simple accessories with gold accents to give the look a little spice.

Like the look but not a fan of the ensemble? Ditch the belt or switch up the hat- just have fun with it!
